This 100 Ton Three Bay Covered Hopper with Elongated Hatches is painted brown and bears the white BNSF Logo with white lettering.  This car was build as part of a combined order from the Burlington Northern Railroad and CB&Q subsidiary Colorado & Southern Railway, this car represents the sole merger-acquired high capacity grain hoppers representing Gunderson.  Cars in this series were assigned different car number series by BNSF due to the slightly different load volume capacities.  These cars are approaching their 40 year life span, but are still productive in hauling grain.
