This 39' Single Dome Tank Car is painted black with red lettering highlight in black.  From a 20 car fleet built in 1920, these tank cars were hand lettered by a sign painter using a brush.  During WWII, this tanker hauled fuel needed to counter the threat of German U-Boats lurking off the coast of South Florida.
