INFORMATION:

This 36' Riveted Steel Sided Caboose with Offset Cupola is painted green with yellow stripes on ends, yellow railings and ladders with yellow lettering.  The Katy constructed 25 of these all steel cabooses at their Denison, Texas Car Shop in 1949.  Originally numbered 1001 - 1025, they ended up with road numbers 6 - 30 when repainted in 1970.
