INFORMATION:

This special limited edition car set was introduced at the 21st Annual N Scale Enthusiasts Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2013.  This three car set captures three different paint schemes seen on the Milwaukee Road Rails.  The Milwaukee Road covered hoppers transported commodities such as grain and flour from the Great Lakes to the Pacific.  While its main business was located in the upper Midwest, the Milwaukee Road herald would be seen across all of America.  The Milwaukee Road box car fleet was the largest of the railroad but starting in the 1950's, covered hopper purchases started to surge ahead giving the railroad lots of hoppers for additional grain and flour service.
