This 50' Gondola with Fishbelly Sides and Drop Ends is painted red with large white "Burlington" lettering, white stenciling and the "Burlington Route" herald is shown in black and white.  It was last shopped in July 1959, this gondola was one of a series of 200.  From Lake Michigan to the Rockies, from Montana to the Gulf of Mexico, the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad and its subsidiaries operated 12,000 miles of track and covered a total of 14 States.
