This 40' Standard Box Car with Single Door is painted dark brown with black ends and white logo and lettering.  It was built by Pullman Standard Box Car Co. and was part of a 50 car lot destined for the Central Railroad Of New Jersey.  Some of the cars from this series received damage-free (DF) load-restraining equipment.  Most of these cars survivied to see the Conrail Merger in 1976 and lasted some years beyond that date.
