This ACF 3-Dome Tank Car is painted silver and black lettering.  While the single dome tankers were generally intended to carry a large quantity of a single commodity, the 3-Dome tankers were designed to carry smaller quantities of multiple products such as motor oil, gasoline or chemicals.  The production of these tankers commenced in 1932 and continued through 1946.
