This 50' Rib Side Box Car with Single Door and No Roofwalk with Interior Freight Load is painted blue with red and white Montana Rail Line Herald and white lettering.  It was built for the Burlington Northern Railway and serviced in February of 1985.  The "Flying W" is a symbol that relates to the Parent Company Washington Corporation.  The box car red door is a replacement door waiting to receive the road's blue color.  The MRL took over portions of the Burlington Northern Railway in October 31, 1987, providing freight service of paper, forest products and grain.
